2conv not working? The YouTube converter is gone

2conv.com no longer converts YouTube videos. As of October 17, 2026 the domain serves an unrelated image-conversion site called Pic-Convert. 2conv was the sister site of FLVTO, run by the same operator, who lost the record labels' US lawsuit and abandoned his appeal in 2023, leaving an $83 million judgment in place.

What happened to 2conv

2conv.com and FLVTO.biz were both run by Tofig Kurbanov and were named together in the major labels' 2018 lawsuit in Virginia. After years of argument over whether a US court could judge a Russian operator, the Supreme Court declined his petition in January 2021, a default judgment followed, and the damages of about $83 million stood when the appeal was dropped in August 2023.

Our status checker has reached 2conv.com every 10 minutes since October 13, 2026. The server answers normally, but what it serves is an image converter for JPG, PNG, PDF, WEBP and HEIC files, with no YouTube option at all. If you bookmarked 2conv for music, the service you knew is not there any more.

Lookalikes

Searches for 2conv still return sites with similar names. They are not the original service, their owners are not public, and converters without a known operator are where aggressive ads and fake downloads tend to appear. Check the address bar before you paste anything.

Quick checks

  • If 2conv.com shows an image converter, you are on the right domain: it simply changed what it does.
  • Avoid "2conv" lookalike domains; nothing connects them to the original operator.
  • Open the video on YouTube itself before blaming any converter. Private, age restricted or removed videos fail everywhere.

Common questions

Is 2conv shut down?

As a YouTube converter, yes. The 2conv.com domain now serves an unrelated image converter.

Was 2conv the same as FLVTO?

Same operator and the same lawsuit. FLVTO.biz now forwards visitors to an advertising domain; see our FLVTO page.

Is it safe to use 2conv lookalikes?

We would not. Their owners are unknown and they are ad-funded, which is where redirects and unwanted downloads come from.

What does AudioFetcher do differently?

It is a working, ad-free converter: free single videos up to 60 minutes as MP3, M4A, Opus or FLAC, MP4 up to 1080p, plus tags, cover art, chapters and lyrics.
