1. What AudioFetcher provides

AudioFetcher provides an online YouTube media converter, browser-local audio utilities, a temporary Library Pack workflow, and optional browser extensions. How data is handled depends on which feature you choose. Use AudioFetcher only for media you own or have permission to process.

2. Browser-local audio tools

Files selected on pages under audiofetcher.com/tools are processed in browser memory by code delivered with the page. The selected media and generated result are not uploaded to AudioFetcher. Refreshing or closing the page clears temporary in-browser state. Your browser may retain ordinary site data such as your theme preference and recent non-media settings.

AudioFetcher may record sampled counts for page visits and tool starts, completions, failures, downloads, or related-tool clicks. These analytics do not include the selected media, filename, full file URL, search terms, or file contents.

3. Online URL conversion

When you submit a supported YouTube URL, the URL and requested settings are sent to the AudioFetcher conversion server. The server retrieves the source and creates the requested MP3, FLAC, Opus, M4A, or MP4 result. The operational job may include the submitted URL, video ID, title, thumbnail URL, requested format, status, errors, and an authenticated email address or a limited anonymous identifier needed to run the queue and enforce limits.

AudioFetcher is not a storage service. Unclaimed single-conversion output has a ten-minute cleanup cap. After the first download begins, the result remains available for up to five minutes so an interrupted transfer can resume, and is then deleted. Explicit deletion removes it sooner. Failed and cancelled operational job records without files are aged out within seven days.

Library Pack files may exist while a pack is being prepared, subject to a two-hour hard processing cap. Once preparation ends, ready files and the ZIP remain available for up to fifteen minutes. A download already in progress receives only a short bounded grace period. Expired packs stay visible only as limited status or receipt metadata; their media files are removed.

4. Optional preparation features

If you request subtitles, chapters, thumbnail artwork, SponsorBlock marking or removal, or lyrics, AudioFetcher sends only the information required to perform that option. Source metadata, thumbnails, and captions come from YouTube. Sponsor segment requests use SponsorBlock. Exact artist-and-title lyric lookups use LRCLIB; lyrics are not cached by AudioFetcher. Missing optional data does not intentionally cause a conversion to fail.

5. Accounts, payments, and support

• Account access: we process your email address, signed login links, session records, tier, and access expiration to authenticate you and provide purchased access.
• Payments: Stripe handles subscriptions and Buy Me a Coffee handles optional one-time Supporter Pass purchases. We receive transaction identifiers, purchaser email, item, quantity, status, and access dates. AudioFetcher does not receive or store full card numbers.
• Feedback: messages may include the reason, issue, optional email address, anonymous installation ID, browser details, and submission time.
• Service email: important account or service emails may use a signed pseudonymous link to record a website visit or sign-in step. AudioFetcher does not use email-open tracking pixels.

6. Reliability, analytics, and diagnostics

To operate and improve the service, AudioFetcher records bounded technical data such as request or job IDs, status, timing, output settings, source duration, output size, error code, retry count, app version, and coarse acquisition source. Protected conversion history uses a pseudonymous account hash and may contain the video ID and title, but not the submitted URL, email address, IP address, media content, or generated file. This history is retained for up to thirty days.

The website may store a pseudonymous browser identifier for daily unique-visitor measurement for up to ninety days. Aggregate daily source and feature counts may be retained for up to four hundred days. Full referring URLs, cross-site browsing history, and search queries are not stored in AudioFetcher's analytics tables.

Sampled extension error diagnostics are deleted after thirty days. Website incident records, which may contain an incident ID, bounded technical detail, a pseudonymous account hash, video ID, deployment version, and retry information, are deleted after one hundred eighty days. AudioFetcher does not place passwords, authentication cookies, card details, or generated media in incident records.

7. Browser extensions

When used on YouTube, an AudioFetcher extension may read the active video URL, title, thumbnail, playlist links, and media information required for the action you request. It stores settings, selected quality, queue items, usage counters, and an anonymous installation ID in browser storage. Browser-local extension conversion does not upload the selected media file to AudioFetcher. Error reporting may include the source URL, video ID, title, failure stage, format details, extension version, and anonymous installation ID, but not YouTube cookies or YouTube account credentials.

8. Service providers

AudioFetcher uses service providers only where needed to deliver the product: hosting and network providers for the website and conversion service; Cloudflare Workers, D1, KV, security, and web analytics; Stripe for subscriptions; Buy Me a Coffee for one-time support purchases; Resend for account and important service email; and YouTube, SponsorBlock, or LRCLIB when the corresponding conversion feature is requested. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Sharing, retention, and security

AudioFetcher does not sell user data, build advertising profiles, or use conversion data for creditworthiness. Data is shared only with providers needed for hosting, security, payments, email, requested media preparation, and legal compliance. Access controls, signed tokens, short-lived download links, bounded diagnostics, and automatic cleanup reduce exposure, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Account, subscription, Supporter Pass, and refund records are kept as needed to provide access, prevent duplicate grants, process disputes or refunds, and meet transaction-record obligations. Feedback may be retained to provide support and improve the product. Where a shorter period is stated above, that shorter period controls.
