YouTube to MP3 with lyrics
Tick Include lyrics and AudioFetcher looks up the song on LRCLIB, a free community lyrics database. When it finds an exact artist and title match, you get a synced .lrc file named like your MP3, so lyric-aware players scroll the words in time with the music.
How lyrics are added
Lyrics are looked up after the audio is ready, using the artist and title YouTube provides for music. Nothing is guessed: if there is no confident match, you still get your audio, with a note that no lyrics were found.
- 1Paste a music video link
Official music videos and auto-generated "Topic" uploads carry the artist and title the lookup needs.
- 2Open Prepare files and tick Include lyrics
Works with MP3, M4A, Opus and FLAC output.
- 3Fetch
AudioFetcher asks LRCLIB for that artist and title, using the album and length when known, and prefers synced lyrics over plain text.
- 4Save the ZIP
When lyrics are found, the audio and its lyrics arrive together in a temporary ZIP: Song.mp3 with Song.lrc (synced) or Song.txt (plain). Keep them side by side in the same folder.
Lyrics come from LRCLIB's public database and are only attached when the artist and title match exactly, so remixes, live versions, covers and unusual upload titles often return nothing. That is a warning, not a failed conversion. The words belong to their writers; keep lyrics for personal use. Free conversions cover single videos up to 60 minutes. Use only videos you own or have permission to download.
Questions
Which players show .lrc lyrics?
Many local players read a .lrc file that sits next to the song with the same name, for example Poweramp, Musicolet and AIMP on Android, MusicBee on Windows, and foobar2000 with a lyrics component. Apple Music and Spotify do not read separate .lrc files.
Are the lyrics embedded inside the MP3?
No. They come as a separate .lrc (synced) or .txt (plain) file with the same name as the audio, which is the form most lyric-aware players look for.
Why did I get no lyrics?
Either the video carries no music artist and title, or LRCLIB has no exact match for that version. Try the official upload or the artist's auto-generated Topic channel version of the song.
Can I get lyrics for a song I already downloaded?
Search the song on lrclib.net, save its synced lyrics as a .lrc file, and give it the same name as your audio file.
