How playlist conversion works

AudioFetcher first reads the public playlist page and returns a preview. Nothing starts until you choose the videos and confirm the batch.

  1. 1
    Copy the playlist URL

Use the playlist page URL or a video URL that includes a playlist ID.

  2. 2
    Load and review the list

AudioFetcher shows the available videos so you can remove items you do not need.

  3. 3
    Start the queue

Selected videos are converted sequentially to protect reliability and keep server load predictable.

  4. 4
    Save your Library Pack

Download the ready audio in one ordered ZIP with an M3U8 playlist and a receipt. Retry eligible failed items without converting successful ones again. Individual downloads remain available.

Free Library Pack: one per day, up to 10 audio items and 60 minutes total. Supporter packs allow up to 100 items and 6 hours total within a 1 GiB output cap. Files are temporary: save them before the displayed expiry. Use only videos you own or have permission to download.

Playlist questions

Why does AudioFetcher process videos one at a time?

Sequential processing avoids several large downloads and encodes competing for memory, CPU, bandwidth, and temporary storage. It is usually more reliable than running an entire playlist at once.

Can I remove videos before starting?

Yes. The preview lets you select the playlist items you want before they enter the conversion queue.

Why is a playlist unavailable?

Private playlists, removed videos, regional restrictions, age restrictions, and temporary YouTube responses can prevent some or all items from loading.
