Questions
How do I link to a specific time on YouTube?
Add ?t= and the time in seconds to a youtu.be link, for example https://youtu.be/VIDEO_ID?t=83 starts at 1:23. This tool does the conversion and keeps the link clean.
Can a link stop at an end time?
Normal YouTube links can't; they play on. Embedded players can: the embed code here uses start and end so it plays only that part.
Does it work on phones and in the YouTube app?
Yes. The YouTube app and mobile browsers open timestamp links at the chosen time.
