SnapTik not working? How to tell what is failing
SnapTik (snaptik.app) was online when we checked on October 26, 2026: it answered and sent visitors to its English page, which offered TikTok videos as MP4 without the watermark. When a download fails there, the cause is usually the video itself (private, removed or region-blocked), a link copied from the wrong place, or a lookalike domain using the SnapTik name. The live check above shows whether the site answers right now.
Published October 26, 2026. Facts are dated and sourced below; what each site offers is described from its own pages as we saw them that day.
What snaptik.app offered on October 26, 2026
The home page offered TikTok downloads as MP4 without the watermark in HD, turned photo slideshows into an MP4 video with the images and music merged, and had a Download All (ZIP) button. Its FAQ said there is no download limit and that videos are downloaded one at a time. The page also promoted a SnapTik app for Android and iOS and had areas marked "Advertisement".
Our checker only asks whether the website answers. It does not try a download, so the site can answer while downloads fail for some videos.
Lookalike domains
Other domains use the SnapTik name. On October 26, 2026 snaptik.net answered our automated request with a Cloudflare bot check, and snaptik.kim appears in search suggestions. The snaptik.app home page does not link to either, and we did not find out who runs them, so do not assume they behave like snaptik.app.
Quick checks
- Open the video in the TikTok app first. Private, removed and region-blocked videos fail on every downloader.
- Copy the link with Share > Copy link. Full tiktok.com links and short vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com links are both normal.
- Check the address bar: snaptik.app is the domain this page tracks.
- If a click opens a new tab or offers an app, close it and go back to the original tab. The website works without an app.
- Try a second, public video. If that one works, the problem is the first video, not the site.
An ad-free alternative: what AudioFetcher offers
AudioFetcher is the converter we build, so read this section as the developer's description rather than an independent review. The facts below are the ones a visitor can check on the site itself.
| Ads and pop-ups | None. The service is funded by Supporter Passes and donations, not ad networks. |
|---|---|
| TikTok video | MP4 (H.264) without the TikTok watermark, in the quality TikTok serves for the post, usually up to 720p. |
| TikTok sound | MP3 up to 320 kbps from the same video link. |
| Free limit | 10 TikTok links a day per browser, with no account and no app. One Cloudflare Turnstile check before a free conversion. |
| Paid option | A Supporter Pass removes the daily limit: $2 for 24 hours, $5 for 30 days or $12 for 90 days, each a one-time payment with no subscription. |
| Not supported | Photo slideshows, sound pages and profiles. Private, region-blocked and removed videos fail with a message. |
| Files | Temporary. Downloads are deleted from the server automatically. |
| Content policy | Download only videos you own or have permission to download. |
Common questions
Is SnapTik down right now?
The live check at the top of this page tests snaptik.app from our server every 10 minutes. On October 26, 2026 it answered normally. A site that answers can still fail on one video, so try a second public video before you assume an outage.
Are snaptik.net and snaptik.kim the same as SnapTik?
Nothing on snaptik.app links to them, and the public sources we checked do not say who runs them. Treat them as separate sites.
Why does SnapTik save a slideshow as a video?
Its home page says it merges the images and music of a TikTok photo slideshow into one MP4 video. That is how the site handles slideshows, not an error.
What does AudioFetcher do differently?
It has no ads and no app. Paste a TikTok link to get an MP4 without the watermark, usually up to 720p, or the sound as MP3 up to 320 kbps. It is free for 10 TikTok links a day; a Supporter Pass removes the limit for $2 for 24 hours, $5 for 30 days or $12 for 90 days. It does not download photo slideshows.
