SaveTik not working? What is going on
SaveTik (savetik.co) loaded normally in a browser when we checked on October 26, 2026 and offered TikTok and Douyin videos as MP4 without the watermark and as MP3. Automated requests, including our status checker, get a Cloudflare bot check instead (HTTP 403), so the live check above can only confirm that the server answers. If SaveTik fails for you, the video, the link or a lookalike domain is the usual cause.
Published October 26, 2026. Facts are dated and sourced below; what each site offers is described from its own pages as we saw them that day.
What savetik.co offered on October 26, 2026
In a browser the site opened its English page and offered MP4 and MP3 downloads from TikTok and Douyin without the logo and user ID, plus an Android app. It also suggests adding "x2" before "tiktok.com" in a link for faster downloads; that is the site's own tip, not a TikTok feature.
To programs such as our checker, savetik.co answers with a Cloudflare "Just a moment..." page and HTTP 403. That is the site protecting itself from automated visits, not an outage, and a normal browser usually passes the check on its own.
Lookalike domains
Other domains use similar names, for example savetik.net, which also answered on October 26, 2026. We found nothing that connects it to savetik.co, so treat it as a separate site.
Quick checks
- If you see a "Just a moment..." page, wait a few seconds: it is Cloudflare's check and it usually clears by itself. If it keeps repeating, a VPN or a privacy extension may be the reason.
- Open the video in the TikTok app first. Private, removed and region-blocked videos fail on every downloader.
- Copy the link with Share > Copy link. Full tiktok.com links and short vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com links are both normal.
- Check the address bar: savetik.co is the domain this page tracks.
- If a click opens a new tab or offers an app, close it and go back to the original tab. The website works without an app.
- Try a second, public video. If that one works, the problem is the first video, not the site.
An ad-free alternative: what AudioFetcher offers
AudioFetcher is the converter we build, so read this section as the developer's description rather than an independent review. The facts below are the ones a visitor can check on the site itself.
| Ads and pop-ups | None. The service is funded by Supporter Passes and donations, not ad networks. |
|---|---|
| TikTok video | MP4 (H.264) without the TikTok watermark, in the quality TikTok serves for the post, usually up to 720p. |
| TikTok sound | MP3 up to 320 kbps from the same video link. |
| Free limit | 10 TikTok links a day per browser, with no account and no app. One Cloudflare Turnstile check before a free conversion. |
| Paid option | A Supporter Pass removes the daily limit: $2 for 24 hours, $5 for 30 days or $12 for 90 days, each a one-time payment with no subscription. |
| Not supported | Photo slideshows, sound pages and profiles. Private, region-blocked and removed videos fail with a message. |
| Files | Temporary. Downloads are deleted from the server automatically. |
| Content policy | Download only videos you own or have permission to download. |
Common questions
Is SaveTik down?
On October 26, 2026 it loaded in a browser. Our live check sees a Cloudflare bot check (HTTP 403), which means the server is up but blocks automated visits; a real outage shows as not responding.
Why does SaveTik show "Just a moment..."?
That is a Cloudflare security check in front of the site. In a normal browser it usually completes by itself after a few seconds.
Does SaveTik work with Douyin?
Its page says it downloads both TikTok and Douyin videos, and lists v.douyin.com and douyin.com links among the accepted formats.
What does AudioFetcher do differently?
It has no ads and no app. Paste a TikTok link to get an MP4 without the watermark, usually up to 720p, or the sound as MP3 up to 320 kbps. It is free for 10 TikTok links a day; a Supporter Pass removes the limit for $2 for 24 hours, $5 for 30 days or $12 for 90 days. It does not download photo slideshows.
