SoundCloud Downloader (sclouddownloader.net) not working?
Scloud Downloader, the SoundCloud to MP3 site at sclouddownloader.net, was online when we checked on October 26, 2026. It answered directly and offered single tracks and playlists as MP3. Its own page says it can download only tracks that SoundCloud allows, and its error for a failed track says the track seems to be private. If you see that message, the track is usually the cause, not an outage.

What sclouddownloader.net offered on October 26, 2026
The site, titled "SoundCloud Downloader - SoundCloud to MP3 Converter", had a SoundCloud track downloader, a playlist downloader and a TikTok downloader. Its text says only the SoundCloud tracks that SoundCloud allows can be downloaded, and its built-in error message says a failed track seems to be private and suggests another track or trying later. The page loads Google ad-serving code, including code for full-screen (interstitial) ads.
Why SoundCloud downloads fail on any site
Private tracks and tracks the uploader removed cannot be fetched by anyone. Some tracks play only as a 30-second preview without SoundCloud Go+, and a downloader usually gets only that preview. A link to an artist page or a set is not a track link, so single-track tools reject it.
Quick checks
- Open the track on SoundCloud first. Private, removed and region-blocked tracks fail on every downloader.
- Paste the link of one track (soundcloud.com/artist/track or an on.soundcloud.com short link), not an artist page.
- Check the address bar: sclouddownloader.net is the domain this page tracks.
- Some tracks play only as a 30-second preview without SoundCloud Go+, and a downloader usually gets only that preview.
- Try a second, public track. If that one works, the problem is the first track, not the site.
An ad-free alternative: what AudioFetcher offers
AudioFetcher is the converter we build, so read this section as the developer's description rather than an independent review. The facts below are the ones a visitor can check on the site itself.
| Ads and pop-ups | None. The service is funded by Supporter Passes and donations, not ad networks. |
|---|---|
| Format | MP3 at 128, 192, 256 or 320 kbps (320 by default), with the track artwork embedded as cover art if you want it. |
| Free limit | 10 SoundCloud tracks a day per browser, each up to 60 minutes, with no account. One Cloudflare Turnstile check before a free conversion. |
| Paid option | A Supporter Pass removes the daily limit: $2 for 24 hours, $5 for 30 days or $12 for 90 days, each a one-time payment with no subscription. |
| Quality | SoundCloud streams most tracks at about 128 to 160 kbps. A 320 kbps MP3 keeps that audio as closely as possible but cannot add detail. |
| Not supported | Sets, playlists, albums and artist pages: one track at a time. Private tracks fail with a message. |
| Files | Temporary. Downloads are deleted from the server automatically. |
| Content policy | Download only tracks you own or have permission to download. |
Common questions
Is Scloud Downloader down?
The live check above tests sclouddownloader.net from our server every 10 minutes. On October 26, 2026 it answered normally.
Why does it say the track seems to be private?
That is the site's standard message when it cannot fetch a track. Check that the track plays on SoundCloud without signing in, then try another public track.
Is Scloud Downloader run by SoundCloud?
Nothing on its page says so. It is a separate website that accepts SoundCloud links.
What does AudioFetcher do differently?
It has no ads. Paste a SoundCloud track link to get an MP3 at 128 to 320 kbps with the artwork as cover art. It is free for 10 tracks a day, each up to 60 minutes; a Supporter Pass removes the limit for $2 for 24 hours, $5 for 30 days or $12 for 90 days. It saves single tracks only, not sets or playlists.
