Privacy policy
This policy covers the IGBulk extension, its support service and these pages, hosted by AudioFetcher. Contact: help@audiofetcher.com.
What stays on your device
IGBulk reads Instagram pages and requests media using your existing browser session to perform downloads you initiate. Account names and IDs, post links, captions, publication dates, media URLs, selections, filenames, download history, saved-item records and settings may be processed and stored locally. They are not included in automatic reports to our support server. Downloaded files are saved to your device. IGBulk does not request your Instagram password or read your cookies through the Chrome cookies API.
Automatic technical error reports
Error reporting is automatic; there is no reporting toggle. Each installation has a random support ID. When an instrumented error occurs, IGBulk sends that ID, a report ID, a predefined error code, the operation category, extension version, development/release label, timestamp and occurrence count to audiofetcher.com over HTTPS. This lets us connect errors from the same installation and connect a support request to those errors. The support ID is pseudonymous, not anonymous.
Reports do not contain raw error messages or stack traces, Instagram usernames or account IDs, post content, captions, media URLs, passwords, browsing history or local file paths. Reports may wait in a bounded local queue while offline. Repeated failures can be grouped with an occurrence count. Delivery cannot be guaranteed if Chrome is closed, local data is cleared, the queue reaches capacity or the extension is removed.
Pro billing and recovery
Stripe processes payments and payment details under its own privacy policy. Our server stores a random billing account ID, linked installation support IDs, hashed device credentials and recovery keys, Stripe customer, checkout, subscription and payment references, plan, access expiration, and webhook event IDs. These records verify access, avoid duplicate processing, manage subscriptions, and restore purchases. Card numbers and security codes do not pass through our server. Billing credentials are separate from the public support ID.
Billing records are separate from the 90-day support-report cleanup. We retain them while purchases or subscriptions need support and where needed for accounting, disputes and legal obligations. Contact support to request deletion; deleting local data or uninstalling does not cancel recurring billing. Stripe maintains its own records and retention. Keep your recovery key private.
Feedback and contact details
If you submit a form, we store your chosen category, message, optional email, support ID if provided, submission ID and submission time. Do not include passwords, private media links or sensitive personal information. Your email is used to respond to your request, not for marketing. When you email support, your message and address are handled by our email provider.
Uninstall page
Chrome may open our uninstall page when you remove the extension. Its URL includes your random support ID, extension version and build label. The page reports a visit with these fields and a random event ID; a visit does not prove that an uninstall occurred. The survey is optional. Blocking or closing the page can prevent a visit from being recorded. We do not reinstall anything or keep the extension running after removal.
Website and infrastructure
We do not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies to these IGBulk pages. Your browser and our hosting/security providers necessarily process network information such as IP addresses, request URLs and browser headers to serve and protect the website. Our support application does not persist IP addresses or user-agent strings. It uses short-lived, in-memory hashed network keys for rate limiting. Infrastructure providers may retain security logs under their own policies. The site uses browser session storage to avoid duplicate uninstall visits.
Purpose, access and sharing
We use reports to diagnose defects, improve reliability, respond to feedback and understand uninstall reasons. Access to the support dashboard is restricted. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Hosting/security providers process data to operate the service; disclosure may also be necessary to meet legal obligations or protect against abuse. These services may process information outside your country. We do not claim that transmission or storage is risk-free.
Retention and deletion
The support application automatically deletes error reports, feedback and uninstall-visit records after 90 days. Local history follows the retention setting shown in the extension; saved-item memory remains until cleared or the extension is removed. Downloaded files remain until you delete them. To request access or deletion of server records, email help@audiofetcher.com with your support ID (Settings → Help), or the email you used for feedback. We may request proportionate verification. Infrastructure and email-provider records can have different retention periods.
Your choices
Choose what Instagram content to process and what feedback to submit. No account is required for core downloads. Technical error reporting is part of this version's operation and cannot be turned off separately; uninstall the extension to stop future extension reports. Chrome may still open the uninstall page described above. Rights to access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction depend on your location; contact support to make a request.
Changes and limited use
Material changes will be reflected here and, where appropriate, in the extension. IGBulk's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. IGBulk is independent of Instagram and Meta.
