How does FrameShelf work?
FrameShelf adds a save control while you browse Instagram. When you click it, media handling runs in your browser and the requested file is saved to your computer. Licensing, payments, and privacy-filtered operational diagnostics use FrameShelf services as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Is Ghost Mode really anonymous?
Ghost Mode is designed to retrieve available story data without sending a view receipt. Website behavior can change, so FrameShelf does not guarantee how Instagram will display activity in every future version. Ghost Chat similarly blocks supported read-receipt and typing requests while enabled.
Is my data safe?
FrameShelf processes Instagram pages, media, usernames, comments, communications, and authentication information locally when a requested feature needs them. It sends privacy-filtered operational diagnostics and licensing or payment data, but automatic diagnostics never contain Instagram content, URLs, usernames, messages, cookies, or tokens. Read the Privacy Policy for the complete disclosure.
What's included in the free plan?
The free plan includes unlimited downloads at up to 1080p quality, with 3 daily HD downloads. You get the download button on all posts, Reels, and carousels. Pro features like Ghost Mode, Analytics, Soundboard, and Comment Export require an upgrade.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Click "Upgrade to Pro" inside the extension popup or on this page. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Recurring plans can be managed through the billing portal.
Does it work with private accounts?
FrameShelf only works with content your signed-in browser is already authorized to access. It does not bypass private-account, login, paywall, or other access restrictions. Only save media you own or have permission to keep.
